Colonist.io

Colonist.io is a online strategy board game in which you play as a colonist and have to build bases and colonies to expand your territory.

How to play

Click "Play" and then choose the mode that suits you to start colonization.

Controls

Interact (Left click), Roll dice (Spacebar), Pause (P), End turn (Spacebar), and Audio (M).

Modes

The game modes are cities & knights, 4 player, 1v1, play vs bots, unranked 4 player, and unranked 1v1.

Maps

The game maps are gold rush, volcano, black forest, shuffle board, base random, earth, USA, UK & Ireland, diamond, gear, lakes, pond, and twirl.

Avatars

The game avatars are cupid robber, lunar robber, sombrero, farmer, avocado, crown, cactus, swords, worker, helmet, scarf, snorkel, tie, pirate ship, christmas hat, and colonist.

Expansions

The game expansions are seafarers + cities & knights, cities & knights, cities & knights 5-6 player, seafarers, base 5-6 player, and more.

Collect coins

You can collect coins while playing or by purchasing them.

Play with friends

Click on "Create room". Copy your room link and share it with your friend, who must go to the game through this link so you can play together.

Create account

Click on "Login", then choose the method you want to register through (Google - Discord - Apple) and enter the required information.

Gold Rush

Find gold beneath the fog! Unveil the hidden resources and settle on the gold tile before your opponents.

Volcano

Race towards the gold tile! Discover what the volcano has to offer in the fog tiles!

Black Forest

Great map for explorers! Discover what's out there building into the fog tiles!

Shuffle Board

Tiles are arranged in a different pattern each time you play: 1000 different map possibilities!

Base Random

Random numbers. The classic base map but with no fixed numbers, for endless replayability!

Interact

To interact, use left click.

Roll dice

To roll dice, use spacebar.

End turn

To end turn, use spacebar.

Pause

To pause game, use P key.

Audio

To mute or unmute, use M key.

Platforms

Colonist.io is well compatible with desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.

Requirements

The game requires free 200 MB RAM and a good internet connection to run.
